Training Needs Analysis for the Automotive Industry
FAQ’s
The Learning Professionals provides the Automotive Industry with choice for their Vocational Education and Training (VET) needs. We focus on practical training that meets the needs of the industry and allows the individual to practice and apply their new skills. We pride ourselves in training the future leaders for the Automotive Industry.
The Learning Professionals has highly qualified trainers and assessors with countless years of experience working with and in the automotive industry. Our experience was gained as Dealership Service Managers, Service Advisors, and Service Technicians, Automotive Trainers, as well as working for Automotive Manufacturers in aftersales training and customer service. We know and realise the demands of working in a high paced aftersales service environment as we have been there ourselves.
We specialise working in partnership with industry and to support the service staff from Dealership’s, Franchise Workshops, and private repair service centres to develop their skills and knowledge. Highly trained and engaged staff provide a superior level of technical and customer service which supports in building customer retention, a positive customer experience and ultimately business profitability. We can review and analyse your business’s aftersales processes and procedures to build specialised training to target areas of great concern. We can build bespoke training packages based on our analysis to assist to improve in the areas of:
- Communication and selling skills
- Customer experience and satisfaction
- Customer retention
- Service reception operations
- Conflict resolution and complaint handling
- Staff, team, and business management
- Workplace training and development
- Technical qualification upgrades
The Learning Professionals also recognises employees informal learning, which is probably the most common form of professional development, but often goes unrecognised and is generally not measured with in the automotive industry. Our Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process involves taking advantage of the technical and non-technical training provided by manufacturers and other providers and the experience gained within the workplace to assess them against the required competencies to gain a higher qualification. Where required, we can provide the appropriate training to meet any “Gaps” in skills and knowledge required to meet the requirements of the qualification.
At The Learning Professionals, we pride ourselves on the high level of support that we offer our students to cater for their individual learning needs. We have a reputation for building strong relationships with students (past and present) from businesses within the public and private sectors.
